Recently, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Science took to Twitter and shared a video to inspire people in these hard times amid the Coronavirus pandemic. “A celebration of hope—through the lens of movies we love,” the Academy’s Twitter handle wrote.
The video is a collage of inspiring dialogues and shots from several iconic Oscar-nominated movies, including Her, Scent of a Woman, Shawshank Redemption, The Dark Knight, Interstellar, Parasite and many more. But what caught everyone’s attention and made their eyes moist is Irrfan Khan’s dialogue from Life of Pi at the end of the video.
The dialogue is when the writer asks Pi Patel (Irrfan Khan), “So your story does have a happy ending and Pi Patel replying – “Well, that’s up to.” Leaving millions of his fans heartbroken, the legendary Bollywood actor breathed his last on April 29, after a long battle with cancer.
