Ravi Teja’s Irumudi is proving once again that strong content can drive a film to extraordinary heights. Shiva Nirvana’s emotional storytelling has connected strongly with audiences, and the positive word of mouth is now translating into exceptional ticket demand.
The biggest sign of the film’s momentum was its day 3 performance on BookMyShow, with more than 405K tickets sold on Sunday. A majority of shows across the Telugu states also recorded housefulls, underlining the strong audience response even after two successful days.
The film has already grossed around Rs. 50 crores in two days, and day 3 is expected to deliver another strong number with the bookings and audience response remaining impressive. More than 2.5 million tickets have been sold across BookMyShow and District so far, while the Monday bookings are also showing strong demand.
With the blockbuster showing no signs of slowing down, Irumudi is now heading towards a bigger box-office run and could add several more milestones in the coming days. Priya Bhavani Shankar, Baby Nakshatra, Sai Kumar and Ajay Ghosh play key roles, with Mythri Movie Makers backing the film and G.V. Prakash Kumar composing the music.
