On its opening day itself, Ravi Teja’s Irumudi created a regional record on BookMyShow for the highest hourly ticket sales, with 32K tickets/hour. Well, that record didn’t last long, as the film went on to break its own record.
Irumudi’s peak hour on BMS stands at 36K today, and we need to see if the film has more steam left to push this even further. The film is going berserk on its second day, with extraordinary occupancies all over. Looking at the momentum, Irumudi is set to emerge as a record-grosser among mid-range films on day two. If the shows match the demand, we could even witness a bigger day two than its opening day.
