In recent times, spy thrillers in Tollywood have struggled to impress audiences. Films like Jack, Nikhil’s Spy, and Akhil’s Agent failed to make an impact, leaving fans waiting for a solid experience. Now, all eyes are on Adivi Sesh’s G2 (Goodachari 2) to change that.
A lot of money has been poured into this ambitious project, which promises higher standards in both scale and storytelling compared to its predecessor. Adivi Sesh is leading the project under the direction of Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi.
At last night’s HIT 3 event, Vishwak Sen shared an exciting update about G2. He mentioned that Adivi Sesh is aiming for a June 2025 release. Sesh didn’t deny the comment and smiled, hinting that the much-anticipated film could indeed arrive around that time. An official announcement is expected soon.
Made on a massive Rs. 100 crore budget, G2 features Emraan Hashmi in a crucial role. Baby John actress Wamiqa Gabbi plays Sesh’s love interest, alongside a strong supporting cast including Madhu Shalini, Prakash Raj, and Jisshu Sengupta.
