According to the latest news, renowned actress Kareena Kapoor is set to share the screen with Ayushmann Khurrana in a film directed by Meghna Gulzar titled Daayra.
Meghna Gulzar, known for critically acclaimed films such as Talvar, Raazi, and Sam Bahadur, is also recognized for bringing fresh pairs on screen.
Daayra is said to be a thriller drama based on the 2019 Hyderabad gang rape incident that shook the nation. Pre-production is underway, and shooting is scheduled to begin in the last quarter of this year. The film is being produced by Junglee Pictures.
