Recently, reports of Goan beauty Ileana turning down a crucial role in Nithiin’s Andhadhun remake surprised many. Both Ileana and Nithiin have been good friends ever since they worked together in the 2009 film, Rechipo. Also, Ileana doesn’t have any Telugu film at the moment, so her reluctance to be part of this much-talked-about remake has been a hot topic.
However, here is the main reason why Ileana said no to Andhadhun’s Telugu remake. Apparently, the makers had approached Ileana for not Radhika Apte’s role but for Tabu’s role. Even though Tabu had enough screentime and scope for performance, Ileana didn’t want to play the role of an old lady.
Also, Ileana is not in the mood for serious films these days and she is keen on signing more entertainers for her next projects.
