Young stars Siddu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran’s highly-anticipated crime comedy, Tillu Square, is all set to open in cinemas this Friday (Mar 29). Following the huge success of the film’s prequel, DJ Tillu, expectations on Tillu Square are quite high among movie lovers and trade circles.

Ahead of the film’s release, Tillu Square’s team held a pre-release event this evening in Hyderabad. Speaking at the event, hero Siddu Jonnalagadda exuded confidence in the film’s success. He started of by talking about the chartbuster DJ Tillu title song. “It was divine intervention that Ram Miriyala and Kasarla Shyam came on board for the Tillu franchise, I can’t imagine the film without the song and it deserves ample credit,” Siddu added. He went on to say that working on a sequel is always challenging. “It has to be thematically engaging and equally surprising as the first. It was like going into a war zone,” said the talented actor.

Siddu expressed complete confidence in Tillu Square’s final output. “We watched the final copy, you’d be thrilled by the interval block. I thank director Trivikram garu, the producers, Kalyan Shankar and others for their inputs. Anupama has done a wonderful job,” he concluded.

Tillu Square is directed by Mallik Ram, with Siddu Jonnalagadda donning the role of screenplay and dialogue writer. Naga Vamsi has produced the film on Sithara Entertainments banner. Srikara Studios banner is presenting the movie.
