SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi, starring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is one of the most anticipated Indian films. With its grand scale and Rajamouli-Mahesh Babu combination, the film has already created huge buzz. Now, producer SS Karthikeya has teased its biggest highlight – the action.
Talking about the stunts in Varanasi, Karthikeya said they will be “crazy” and very different from what audiences saw in RRR and Baahubali. “It’s a different kind of action, not the kind you saw in RRR or Baahubali. It’s a completely different kind of action, but you will be at the edge of your seat in every sequence,” he said.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas has also previously spoken about the action in the film. She revealed that she has been working on Varanasi for around 14 months and described it as an epic adventure that moves across the world and through time. She also teased that the film features several slow-motion jumps.
With Rajamouli known for creating memorable action blocks, Karthikeya’s comments have only made Varanasi more exciting. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on April 7, 2027, and for now, the makers are carefully keeping most of its details under wraps.
