After gaining fame with the hit comedy TV show Jabardasth and then stepping into films successfully, popular comedian Shakalaka Shankar turned hero with a mass action entertainer, titled Shambo Shankara, earlier this year. Although the film ended up being a flop, Shankar went on to sign a handful of movies.
According to the latest updates, Shakalaka Shankar’s next film as hero is titled Shankar Pahilwan. The film has wrestling as its backdrop and Shankar will be seen as a wrestler in the film.
AA Dhanush will direct the movie and Abdul Azeem and Mirza Abid Hussain will jointly bankroll the project. The film will be launched soon.
