Yesterday, the AP government granted a ticket price hike for Superstar Rajinikanth’s much-awaited sequel, Jailer 2. The news took everyone by surprise, and a section of netizens have been questioning why a dubbed film was approved for a ticket fare enhancement.
The latest news suggests that the Nizam distributor has decided to stick to regular pricing (Rs. 175 in single screens and Rs. 295 in multiplexes). The pricing strategies in both Telugu states are contrasting, and this will boost footfalls in Telangana.
