Jailer 2 is the sequel to the 2023 blockbuster Jailer. Headlined by Superstar Rajinikanth, the movie is scheduled to release on October 15 during the Dusshera season.

As the release date is nearing, the makers have decided to up the ante, with ack-to-back updates lined up leading up to the release. The theatrical trailer will be unveiled on October 5, before which the album launch will happen.

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the biggie also features Vidya Balan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Mirnaa, Ramya Krishnan, Mithun Chakraborty, and others in key roles. Mohanlal, Hrithik Roshan, Shiva Rajkumar, and Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in special cameos. Anirudh is composing the tunes.
