Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2, the sequel to the 2023 blockbuster Jailer, is set to open in cinemas on October 15 during the Dussehra season. The makers have now launched the theatrical trailer, and it looks massy.
After the events of Jailer, several gangsters are after Tiger Muthuvel Pandian (Rajinikanth). The protagonist goes into exile and starts working as a driver, where he is constantly ridiculed.
It is then revealed that Muthuvel Pandian is secretly working to eliminate the underworld network by bringing his enemies under one roof. The stakes are raised as Rajini takes on the goons in his own style, showcasing his might and style.
Nelson Dilipkumar once again promises a stylish action entertainer with Rajini at the centre. Superstar’s mannerisms and dialogue delivery are highlighted yet again, offering a treat to his fans. The story sounds interesting, and the trailer hints at a good dose of action too. Visuals look brilliant justifying the massive budget.
The biggie also features Vidya Balan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Mirnaa, Ramya Krishnan, Mithun Chakraborty, and others in key roles. Mohanlal, Hrithik Roshan, Shiva Rajkumar, and Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in special cameos. Anirudh is composing the music.
