It would have been a month since Jana Nayagan released if it had arrived as originally planned. However, legal issues surrounding the film delayed its release and led to a court battle. After the prolonged legal tussle between the makers and the CBFC, Thalapathy Vijay’s last film may finally have a ray of hope.
As per the latest buzz, the makers have withdrawn the court case and submitted the film to the revision committee. A screening will be held, and the required cuts suggested by the CBFC are expected to be implemented. Recently, there has been strong buzz that around 20 minutes of objectionable content may be removed from the film.
If everything goes smoothly, fans may get to watch the movie in theatres very soon. Reports suggest that February 20 is being considered as the release date. An official announcement is expected once the revision committee completes its review.
