The final cinematic outing of Vijay, now officially sworn in as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, has faced several hurdles ahead of its much awaited release. Titled Jana Nayagan, the film has been surrounded by constant speculation regarding its release status.
Amid the uncertainty, producer Venkat K. Narayana of KVN Productions has now shared a major update that has reignited excitement among fans. Speaking to the media during Vijay’s swearing in ceremony, Narayana revealed that the team is currently in active discussions with the CBFC and is working towards locking the release. He added that the film is expected to arrive in theaters within the next two weeks.
One of the biggest talking points surrounding the release is Vijay’s updated title card. Reports suggest the film will introduce him as “Chief Minister” before his name, symbolically marking his transition from the iconic “Thalapathy” persona to his new political role.
