Jana Nayagan marks the last film of Thalapathy Vijay, as the actor is set to devote his time completely to politics. The political action drama is directed by H. Vinoth and is scheduled for a grand release on January 9, 2026. The biggie will have a simultaneous release in major Indian languages.
The latest update reveals that the Hindi-dubbed version has been titled Jan Neta. A new poster featuring Thalapathy Vijay and Bobby Deol was unveiled to mark the announcement of the Hindi version. Zee Studios has come on board to handle the North India distribution for this flick. Pooja Hegde plays the female lead, and this marks her second film with Vijay after Beast.
Mamitha Baiju will be seen in a pivotal role. The film, which is inspired by Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari, also stars Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, and Narain in supporting roles. Venkat K. Narayana of KVN Productions is bankrolling Jana Nayagan, while Anirudh is providing the tunes.
