Finally, the highly-anticipated theatrical trailer for Dhadak, legendary actress Sridevi’s elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor’s maiden Bollywood film, is out this morning. Needless to say, all eyes were on Janhvi, and the star kid leaves everyone impressed with her confident screen presence and charming expressions and dialogue delivery.
Dhadak is an intense romantic drama set in a small Indian village against the backdrop of social differences and caste politics. Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khattar plays Janhvi’s love interest in the movie. Dhadak is an official remake of the blockbuster Marathi film, Sairaat.
Shashank Khaitan has directed Dhadak and hotshot Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has bankrolled it. Dhadak will have a huge worldwide release on July 20.
