Comedian Priyadarshi has played one of the main leads in the just released comic caper, Jathi Ratnalu. The film is enthralling audiences across the twin Telugu states and is inching towards the Rs 10 crore share milestone. Priyadarshi interacted with the media to share his experience of being part of this acclaimed him.

“It was my friend and actor Rahul Ramakrishna who listened to Jathi Ratnalu’s story and told me that he enjoyed the story quite a lot. Later, Anudeep narrated the story to me and I was laughing throughout the narration. Audiences have received my Shekar character and I’m flooded with phone calls and messages. Many people are telling me that Jathi Ratnalu is enough and that they don’t need a COVID vaccine. They were kidding. I request everyone to take the vaccine,” Priyadarshi said.

The young comedian went on to say that the film’s unit initially had a doubt about audiences’ response to their film. “But we became confident by the time we had wrapped up the first schedule,” he revealed. I’ve been a good friend of Naveen Polishetty for 2 years and with Rahul Ramakrishna for the last 10 years. That’s why our scenes have turned out quite well on-screen,” he said.

Priyadarshi further said that he admires stalwart actors like SV Rangarao, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Prakash Raj. Currently, he is acting in a couple of movies and a web-series.
