It’s well-known that a biopic on the life and legacy of yesteryear heroine and former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalithaa is in the making. Titled The Iron Lady, the film has Nithya Menen reprising Jayaa’s role. Debutant Priyadhaarshini is directing this prestigious biopic.
As per the latest updates, The Iron Lady’s next major schedule will take place at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad from the 24th of January. A huge set is being erected for this purpose. The Iron Lady’s striking first look poster was unveiled on Jayalalithaa’s second death anniversary. Papertale Pictures is bankrolling the project.
