Jet Lee disappoints in theaters but makers in safe zone

Jet Lee, featuring Satya in the lead role, has failed to make an impact at the box office. The film opened to dull word of mouth, which reflected clearly in poor occupancy across theaters.

After a weak weekend, the Monday bookings have started on a disappointing note, indicating a sharp drop in collections. Trade circles believe the film may be pulled out of theaters in the next few days due to the lack of star value and audience interest.

Despite its theatrical struggles, the makers are said to be in a safe zone financially. Thanks to decent OTT and other non-theatrical deals, the film has reportedly recovered its costs, avoiding major losses.
