June 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most competitive months in Bollywood, with multiple big-ticket releases arriving across four consecutive Fridays.
After seeing releases like Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai and Peddi, the box office race is set to get even more crowded next Friday with the release of Main Vaapas Aaunga, Governor, Bharat Bhhagya Vidhaata and Haunted.
The competition will continue with Cocktail 2 arriving on June 19 and the multi-starrer comedy Welcome To The Jungle on June 26.
Adding to the pressure, several major Hollywood releases, including He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe, Disclosure Day, Toy Story 5 and Supergirl, are also scheduled to hit theatres this month.
Industry experts have expressed concern over the overcrowded release calendar, warning that the clash of major films could impact each other’s box-office potential.
