Kajal Aggarwal’s socio-political drama The India Story has made its digital debut on JioHotstar, where it is streaming exclusively in Hindi. Directed by Chettan DK and written and produced by Sagar B. Shinde, the film originally hit theatres on July 24, 2026.
The film stars Kajal Aggarwal alongside Shreyas Talpade and explores the impact of chemical misuse, pesticide-heavy farming and food adulteration. It looks at how these practices affect public health and lead to wider social and political consequences.
After a lacklustre theatrical run, The India Story is now streaming on OTT, giving the film another opportunity to reach audiences at home. However, there is no update yet on the Telugu version, which was announced before the film’s theatrical release.
