Amid the film’s phenomenal success, an old photo of director Nag Ashwin and actor Vijay Deverakonda has surfaced on social media, delighting fans. The image captures a younger, leaner Nag Ashwin and a youthful Vijay Deverakonda at an unknown party.
Their strong bond dates back to before their collaboration on Yevade Subrahmanyam. Vijay went on to play a journalist in Nag’s Mahanati and the heroic warrior Arjuna in Kalki 2898 AD.
It has been reported that Vijay Deverakonda will have a more screen presence in the next installment of Kalki 2898 AD, set for release around the same time next year. According to the producer, about 60% of the shooting for part two has already been completed.
