The sequel to Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, is back in the spotlight amid reports that shooting has begun. While neither director Nag Ashwin nor the production house has made an official announcement, designer Amrita Ram has hinted at the development.
Amrita, who also worked on the first installment, shared Instagram stories featuring a caravan, a “shooting in progress” text, and a welcome kit from the makers. Though the fashion stylist did not disclose specific details such as who joined the sets, the posts indicate that production is underway.
According to reports, filming is taking place on a specially erected set in Shankarpally, Hyderabad. Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan are said to be shooting their portions without Prabhas. Vyjayanthi Movies is backing the sequel on a larger scale with an increased budget. Stay tuned for more updates.
