Last night, we reported that the French government has conferred the country’s highest honour Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts Arts et Lettres (Knight in the National Order Arts and Letters) on legendary Indian actor Kamal Haasan for his invaluable contribution to cinema and achieving world-class artistic excellence in his career.
Thanking the French authorities for this honour, Kamal sent out a thanksgiving voice message last night in which he paid tributes to the legends of Indian cinema Satyajit Ray and Shivaji Ganesan who were honoured with the same award several years ago.
Kamal then humbly dedicated the Chevalier honour to all his admirers and audiences who have been supporting and applauding each and every step he took in the world of cinema.
