Apart from the KGF franchise, Hombale Films has struck gold with the blockbuster success of Kantara. The makers have recently released the teaser of its prequel, titled Kantara: Chapter 1.
In a recent interview, the film’s producer, Vijay Kiragandur, mentioned that they have decided to make Kantara 2 a neater, cleaner, and more respectable film. He also announced that the movie is scheduled for release either in the last quarter of 2024 or the first quarter of 2025.
Rishab Shetty will helm and act in this prequel as well. Many actors from the first installment will appear in the latest one. This pan-Indian project is being mounted on a massive scale with a substantial budget. Ajaneesh Loknath has returned as the music director for this movie, which is yet to kickstart shooting.
