Kantara is a sensational blockbuster in all languages. Rishab Shetty was both the director and protagonist of the film. The movie erased every single record in Sandalwood and became the new industry hit.
In a recent interview, the film’s producer Vijay Kirangadur said that the second installment would not be a sequel but a prequel instead. Rishab Shetty has reaffirmed the same in 100 days celebrations of the film.
Accordingly, the prequel will focus on the backstory of the deity, and the budget will be multifold Kantara. The other details regarding the cast, shooting, and release date are yet to be revealed. Well, the fans of Kantara need to wait a bit longer to catch the prequel.
