Telugu audiences have once again proved that they love cinema irrespective of language. Sandalwood’s recent sensation Kantara is the latest example to prove it. Written, directed and even acted by Rishab Shetty, the film’s Telugu version is continuing its rage at the box office.
Released by Geetha Arts in Telugu, the raw and rustic movie has been doing extremely well at the ticket windows since its release. The Telugu version has grossed Rs. 5 crores, Rs. 6.5 crores gross and Rs. 5 crores in the first three days. With this, the worldwide collection of the Telugu version in 3 days is close to Rs. 16.5 crores, which is good for a dubbing movie. The rage might be continued this week also.
Produced by Hombale Films, Kantara also stars Kishore, Sapthami Gowda, Achyuth Kumar, Naveen D Padli, and Pramod Shetty in key roles. Anjaneesh Loknath is the music director of the film.
