If all goes well, Karthi and Samantha might soon team up for an upcoming Tamil film titled Biryani. Venkat Prabhu, the director of Gambler, is going to helm this project. Gnanavel Raja is going to produce the film on Studio Green banner. Kollywood is abuzz with rumours that Venkat Prabhu and Gnanavel have approached Samantha to play the lead role; however, nothing has been finalized so far. This film is expected to go on floors in August this year. Samantha’s diary is already full for the next few months and it remains to be seen if she can accept the role or not.
