Kollywood actor Karthi is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film, Japan, which is scheduled to release in theaters this Diwali. Recently, an interesting buzz has been circulating on social media about his next project.
If rumours are to be believed, a sequel to the 2010 super hit Paiyaa (Awara in Telugu), directed by Lingusamy, maybe in the works. The buzz suggests that Karthi is likely to reprise his role in Paiyaa 2. According to the latest reports, Studio Green banner is keen to bankroll this project.
If the sequel does come to fruition with Karthi as the lead, it will be sensational news for the actor’s fans. Karthi already has another sequel, Kaithi 2, in the works, which will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and is set to begin shooting in 2024. Stay tuned for more interesting updates
