When Ravi Teja’s Eagle teaser was released, a few felt that it was not a movie that was meant for Sankranti release. During the promotions, director Karthik Ghattamaneni said that Eagle isn’t a serious film and added that the movie will have dark humor. Karthik said, “We presented the film’s story in the trailer, and hence, people might have felt Eagle is a serious film.”
Karthik stated that there will be a good number of fun moments in the movie. The director revealed that Eagle deals with a global issue and added that it is novel. Karthik doesn’t want to reveal what it is since it would spoil the viewing experience of the audience.
Karthik said, “Eagle will not have Ravi Teja sir’s mark entertainment, but it will be entertaining in another way. At the end of the day, Eagle is a proper commercial entertainer. As long as the movie is engaging without boring elements, the audience will watch it irrespective of its genre. We haven’t used a few traits of Ravi Teja sir in the film and went ahead as per the story. We suppressed the pro-active trait of Ravi sir.”
