Suriya’s Karuppu is rocking the Tamil Nadu box office with massive occupancies everywhere. On Monday, the film created an all-time record in the Trichy area by registering the highest first Monday collection for any Tamil film in the territory with Rs. 40 lakhs gross.

In an interesting move, the makers have introduced live box office tracking for the film, and so far, including Tuesday’s numbers, it has earned Rs. 80 crores gross in the state. By Thursday, the film is expected to cross the Rs. 100 crore mark.

Suriya has made a sensational comeback at the box office, and his fans are on cloud nine with the way Karuppu is trending. RJ Balaji played the antagonist and also directed the film, while Sai Abyankkar composed the tunes.
