Suriya’s Karuppu emerged as the actor’s first Rs. 300 crore grosser. The film has now entered its third weekend on a good note, with its collections once again witnessing a noticeable jump.
The fantasy action drama is now eyeing Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran’s lifetime total of about Rs. 330 crores gross. Whether or not it can surpass Amaran’s numbers remains to be seen.
RJ Balaji directed this flick, and he also played a key role. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, the film stars Trisha Krishnan, RJ Balaji, Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, and Anagha Maaya in other key roles. Sai Abyankkar composed the music.
