Kayadu Lohar, who is currently busy with multiple projects, is set to appear in The Paradise, opening in cinemas tomorrow with paid premieres. The actress says the film pushed her to take on a challenging character very different from her real-life personality.
Speaking about the experience, Kayadu said, “The process behind this is not as glamorous as people think. It takes a lot of patience, a lot of pushing yourself.” She also revealed that the language was a major challenge, making every take stressful.
Kayadu believes The Paradise can help her move beyond being seen only as a commercial heroine. “I just don’t want to be a part of commercial films. I also want to tell something through stories. I want to earn that respect as an actor, as an artist,” she said.
The film stars Nani alongside Kayadu Lohar and is carrying decent buzz ahead of its release. SLV Cinemas bankrolled it on a massive scale.
