Varanasi, SS Rajamouli’s ambitious globe-trotting adventure, is one of the most awaited films in Indian cinema. The film stars Mahesh Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in key roles.
The makers have already announced April 7, 2027, as the film’s release date. Reaffirming the schedule, Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravaani revealed that he will begin working on the film’s background score in September and plans to complete it by January.
The update comes as good news for fans eagerly waiting for the film. Meanwhile, the shoot is progressing at a brisk pace, with several more months of filming still remaining. Varanasi is produced by KL Narayana under Sri Durga Arts and SS Karthikeya under Showing Business.
