Hero Varun Tej’s upcoming boxing drama, Ghani, recently locked its release date. The film will be hitting theaters on July 30. Apart from Varun, Ghani also features Bollywood stars Suniel Shetty and Saiee Manjrekar as Varun’s boxing coach and love interest respectively.
On the other hand, star Sandalwood hero Upendra will be seen in an important cameo as Varun’s father. Upendra will be resuming the shoot for his part from February 12. Also, star character artiste cum villain Jagapathi Babu will be seen as the main antagonist in the movie. Talented young hero Naveen Chandra too portrays a key role.
Ghani is being directed by debutant Kiran Korrapati and produced jointly by Allu Venkatesh and Sidhu Mudda. Thaman is composing the music.
