After the blockbuster success of Vikram, young director Lokesh Kanagaraj confirmed his next is with the star actor Vijay. A few months ago, he announced that the film is an out-and-out gangster drama.
The latest gossip is that the veteran Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who recently appeared in KGF: Chapter 2 and Shamshera, is reportedly roped in to play the antagonist in this biggie. According to the latest buzz, he is charging a whopping Rs. 10 crores for his role. If the rumours are believed to be true, then the film is going to be more interesting.
The movie will go on floors in October or November. Currently, Thalapathy Vijay is busy shooting for his next, Varisu/ Vaarasudu, directed by Vamshi Paidipally. Having Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady, the film will be released in theaters in January 2023.
