Hero Karthi’s latest action thriller, Khaidi, released last Friday and is having a steady run at the box-offices across the twin Telugu states and elsewhere. Movie buffs and critics gave a collective thumbs up for the movie.
Now, Mahesh Babu, who’s is an ardent film buff and never misses out on appreciating good cinema, is all praise for Khaidi. He took to Twitter last night and said that Khaidi is new-age filmmaking. “Thrilling action sequences and stellar performances in a gripping script,” Mahesh said in his short review.
But the main highlight of Mahesh’s tweet is his praise for Khaidi for pulling off without any songs. “No songs!! A welcome change,” said Mahesh, as he went on to congratulate the team. Needless to say, if stars like Mahesh Babu endorse and act in movies without unnecessary songs, Tollywood will surely witness a new era of filmmaking.
