Vijay Deverakonda’s latest film Kingdom hit theatres yesterday and opened to decent reception at the box office. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film is an emotional action drama with Satya Dev playing a crucial role.
The makers have officially announced the day 1 earnings, and the film has collected over Rs. 39 crore worldwide, an impressive figure for a non-holiday release. Trade analysts expect the numbers to grow stronger over the weekend.
In the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana region alone, Kingdom earned approximately Rs. 9.92 crore (excluding GST) on its opening day, marking a solid start.
Produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, the film features music by Anirudh Ravichander. Mollywood actor Venkitesh takes on the role of the antagonist.
