Shankar Shanmugham, who was once hailed as one of the country’s best directors, now faced consecutive disasters with Indian 2 and Game Changer. Both films received outright flop talk, and critics bashed Shankar for his outdated screenplay choices and poor stories.
According to a recent report in Kollywood media, Shankar is looking to collaborate with star hero Ajith Kumar. However, it must be noted that there hasn’t been any development regarding the same. Shankar hasn’t met Ajith yet because the Mankatha actor is now busy participating in a racing competition in Spain. Whether or not Ajith will provide a chance to Shankar remains to be seen.
Previously, it was a dream for every star hero to feature in a Shankar film, but now the scenario has changed. At the moment, any producer or actor will surely think twice about associating with Shankar. During Game Changer promotions, Shankar revealed that his next film would be based on the novel Velpari. Is Shankar aiming to make Velpari with Ajith? Only time will tell us that.
