Varun Tej-starrer Korean Kanakaraju, directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, continued its decent run at the box office on its ninth day. The Independence Day holiday worked in favour of the horror comedy, with the film recording encouraging ticket sales.

The movie sold around 56K tickets on BookMyShow and District combined on Independence Day. The demand also led to additional shows being added at several locations, giving the film another boost.

With ticket sales remaining encouraging on Sunday evening, Korean Kanakaraju is expected to post another healthy number at the box office.

The film stars Ritika Nayak in the female lead, while UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments have produced it. Thaman has composed the music.
