As the controversy surrounding Manikarnika continues to rage on, director Krish has taken up the fight to the next level. A day after Kangana Ranaut’s sister alleged that Kangana had completed the film and that Krish was nowhere involved with the final cut, Krish was forced to defend himself publicly.
The director alleged that Kangana had made up lies and was misleading everyone about what had happened between the two. “I’m confidently saying that everything Kangana has written on those whats app messages when I’ve questioned her, are complete lies and pre prepared, as she has foreseen that this day will come,” Krish said.
Moreover, he shared messages that some of the crew members shared with him and clarified that it was he who shot most part of the film and not Kangana. In a series of tweets, Krish told everyone his version of the story and this, in turn, has triggered a lot of support in his favour especially among Telugu movie fans who started trending #IsupportKrish.
I never thought I've to defend my ability of film making based on the manipulations and lies of one person. @Rangoli_A these messages were ur sister's words about me ehen I've questioned her about the credit and the damage she is doing to the movie.
