Tamil actor and comedian Santhanam recently remade Naveen Polishetty’s blockbuster Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya in Tamil as Agent Kannayiram. The original version, directed by Swaroop, came with decent buzz and was a massive blockbuster in Telugu cinema.
The Tamil version, directed by Manoj Beedha, turned out to be a colossal disappointment as it failed to repeat the Telugu version’s magic. Even the fans were dissatisfied with the film’s quality and output, and thus it ended up without leaving any mark.
The latest news is that the film will be available to stream on Sun Nxt from December 23rd. Riya Suman, Sruthi Hariharan, and Redin Kingsley essayed crucial roles. The film’s music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. So let’s see if the detective thriller can get a good response on OTT.
