The other day, we have reported that the National Crush Rashmika Mandanna has signed her first female-centric film. Billed to be a breezy romantic fantasy drama, the movie has officially launched today in Hyderabad.

Written and directed by debutant Shantharuban, the movie is titled Rainbow. Dev Mohan is playing the male lead in this Tamil-Telugu bilingual. KM. Bhaskaran wields the camera while Justin Prabhakaran will score the music, both of which will surely be among the movie’s highlights. National award-winning production designer Banglan is incharge of the production design.

The film was launched today with a formal pooja ceremony at Annapurna Glass House in Hyderabad. Allu Aravind, Suresh Babu, Amala Akkineni, Supriya, Venky Kudumula, and others graced the launch event. Amala Akkineni sounded the first clap on the lead pair – Rashmika and Dev Mohan, while Allu Aravind switched on the camera and Suresh Babu handed over the script to the makers.

This is the second Telugu venture produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. Bankrolled on a huge scale by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu, the movie will kickstart its principal photography on April 7, 2023. Keep checking this page for more interesting details about the film.
