It is a known fact that a total of 4 biggies – Waltair Veerayya, Veera Simha Reddy, Varisu and Thunivu – are confirmed to release in Telugu states for Sankranthi 2023.
Today, Telugu Film Producers Council has released a press note about the films scheduled to release for the coming Pongal. The council has mentioned that the first preference should be given to Telugu straight films in Telugu states and if there left any theaters, they would be allocated to dubbing movies.
So, it would be a big problem for the producer Dil Raju whose next, Varisu, is a Tamil movie, which will be released in Telugu also. We need to wait to know the response of Dil Raju. On the other hand, both Chiru and Balayya movies will get more theaters than others.
