The highly-anticipated mythological magnum opus, Ramayana, is going global with each passing day. It was recently reported that Oscar-winning Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer will be joining forces with our very own Oscar-winner AR Rahman to compose music for this mega project.
And now, Bollywood media is abuzz with the news that Ramayana producer Namit Malhotra is in talks with leading Hollywood studio Warner Brothers for a possible collaboration to make Ramayana a truly international project. This partnership, if materializes eventually, will help Namit Malhotra in securing additional budget and pan-international marketing and distribution for Ramayana. Furthermore, Namit Malhotra’s 7-time Oscar-winning VFX company DENG has been roped in to produce world-class visual effects for this crazy project.
Ramayana features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita respectively. KGF hero Yash will be essaying the role of Ravana in this Nitesh Tiwari directorial. The project went on floors in Mumbai earlier this week.
