In a moving gesture, one of the leading south heroes Thalapathy Vijay has donated Rs 70 lakhs for the relief and rehabilitation of the flood victims in Kerala. Vijay’s donation is the highest among the rest of the southern stars.
So far, over 400 people lost their lives and over 1 lakh people are still homeless. With the rains receding, the state is slowly limping back to normalcy. Rescue and rehabilitation operations are still being carried out by the state and central authorities.
