More and more film stars are coming forward with their generous donations to provide relief to the needy people during the ongoing lockdown period due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Legendary playback singer SP Balasubrahmanyam is not behind in this massive initiative.
SPB chose a unique way to raise funds for the people who have been affected by Coronavirus through his SPB Friends Charitable Trust. SPB has urged all his fans and common people to donate any amount starting from Rs 100. And those who donated can also request SPB to sing their favourite song and the singer will record a song and post the video on his Facebook page. Until March 31st, SPB raised a total amount of Rs 4.75 lakhs through his trust.
Already, SPB has also come up with a Coronavirus awareness song in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada versions. His SPB Friends Charitable Trust has been serving the needy for the last 12 years.
