The theatrical run of Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin has almost come to an end, as several new releases have occupied the marketplace. The rural action drama, directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, features Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead.
According to the production house, the film grossed Rs. 100 crores at the worldwide box office. After a series of underwhelming results, Akhil made a solid comeback with this Rayalaseema-set action drama.
Lenin was produced by Naga Vamsi and Nagarjuna under the banners of Sitara Entertainment and Manam Enterprises. The film also stars Shivaji, Pramod Panju, Eeswari Rao, Sunil, Ramki, and Brahmaji in key roles. Thaman composed the music.
