Akhil Akkineni’s latest film, Lenin, directed by Murali Kishor Abburu and starring Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead, has finally hit the big screens after a long wait. Despite the delay in its release, the film has opened on a fair note at the box office.
According to the latest update, Lenin has earned over $250K in the USA so far, including premiere and day 1 collections. Reasonable ticket pricing and enabling all passes have worked in the film’s favour in the territory.
If the rural action drama performs well over the weekend and holds steady on weekdays, it has a good chance of entering the $1 million club. Lenin is jointly produced by Naga Vamsi and Nagarjuna.
