However, these small-budget films have little pre-release buzz and may struggle to draw audiences. Their fate at the box office will depend on strong content and positive word-of-mouth.
Dhanush’s directorial venture, Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, is releasing in Telugu as Jaabilamma Neeku Antha Kopama. With no big names in the cast, the film relies solely on Dhanush’s star power to attract viewers.
Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dragon, releasing in Telugu as Return of the Dragon, has garnered a moderate buzz. It remains to be seen how this Anupama-starrer rom-com fares at the Telugu box office.
As of now, all these films have low pre-release hype, but strong content could turn the tide in their favour.
